COMS 146 Media Production (3), includes the use of a state-of-the-art television studio (Ross Technologies, et al). Students focus on media production and performance, basic script writing and story-boarding, on-camera broadcast performance, basic language and aesthetics of cinema. Students learn valuable expressive, creative, technical and management skills.
Manage work study students/interns and on-site Workshop and Studio resources. Consult with faculty and students with creative and technology teaching and learning needs. Collaborate with faculty on teaching and learning projects involving the innovate use of teaching technologies. Facilitate creative learning opportunities for RU students and K12 community outreach programs including film festivals and a robotics competition. Produce educational films, applications and other media.
Reviews for concerts, books and music recordings. Wrote the weekly 'Walking in Pembroke' column/blog.
