John Dees is majoring in applied environmental and spatial analysis at the University of North Georgia with an emphasis in environmental studies. John loves the interdisciplinary nature of his degree program, as it offers him the opportunity to approach environmental issues from both a scientific and social perspective. He plans to continue his education in a graduate school program, where he can apply his education in geographic information science and remote sensing towards environmental policy research. In his free time, John loves to hike and play his guitar.
