As a health care professional with over ten years experience, I know my diverse skills, training's and qualifications will make me an adequate candidate for many medical positions. I have held a variety of roles within the health care field, including Mental and Behavioral health such as: Certified Nursing Assistant, Child Care Worker Level 2, Assistant Manager of a Rehabilitation House and a Direct Care Staff. As others may have considered these as jobs, I thought of them as my calling, to help people with needs and I truly enjoy what I do. In addition to being very reliable, I have been given many responsibilities in my career. Some of those include: Writing evaluations, Setting up groups with various topics, health care planning, Job Coaching, Life Skills instructor, Substance Abuse counseling, Family communication, Financial Planning and providing transportation. Also, I have recently and proudly added Phlebotomy Certification to my list. In the past I have been Med Certified by the State of Connecticut and currently am PMT trained and BLS CPR certified. I have also been part of planning and implementing many daily living skills and assisted with the development of treatment plans for residents. I have also strive to maintain awareness of and sensitivity to cultural differences among any individuals. As a motivated and dedicated team player, I pride myself on having great communication. By taking the time to listen and problem solve, it helps me become a better advocate for not only the residents but staff also. It also aids me in growing as a mentor with staff. I tend to adapt well to my surroundings and can follow instruction with minimal guidance. Last but not least, I want you to know that I am very passionate about the individuals we serve. Providing them with the highest level of care and the utmost respect is priority.
