- Facilitate fluency in beginning readers by fostering a love of reading - Commit to weekly training for a program for which evaluations consistently show that 85% to 92% of students progress by at least one reading grade level by the end of the 7-month tutoring year - Collaborate with students new to English to master written and spoken English vocabulary

- Develop interpersonal mentorship skills during training in order to offer effective emotional support and connect incoming freshman with the appropriate campus resources, throughout the school year - Dedicate 12-hour days to facilitating conversation among first years and my peers on topics such as interfaith social justice and personal social identities - Adjust vocabulary to a room of students with diverse prior experiences in the topics of discussion

As a Quest Ambassador, I provide outreach and recruitment assistance for QuestBridge's programs. I am passionate about providing younger students with the same opportunities from which I benefited. My experiences as a Quest Ambassador has included promoting the community through interactions with students both in my high school as well as making trips to Boston area public schools.
