Some of the best parts of life are learning, adapting & overcoming various obstacles which lead one with an ah ha moment to rethink their strategy & goals. The pursuit of knowledge has always been the driving force for me throughout my life. Experiences ranging from creating a reward system at my school in 10th grade, to paneling for the Columbia Climate School event, I have seen many positions of great importance to developing my profession. These experiences push me to continue my pursuit of knowledge and to adapt to my positions and environments. This passion pursues today and continues to grow for a change in the following college years. I have enjoyed a variety of environments with various positions from early experience in policy making via school government to facilitating large events with the office of sustainability. These environments have pushed me to arise to their challenges and to implement new strategies on approaching different ideas. The positions I have been in range from educational awareness at the BBG to logistical works in gathering organizations for the Climate Careers Summit for NYC DOE Office of Sustainability. The variety of positions pushed me to take an open minded approach to multiple perspectives. Looking for ways to open education to all perspectives through: -Including stakeholders, other educational approaches and participants in planning -Building off previous ideas & incorporating talents to creatively rethink how to achieve a goal -Incentives to take in suggestions, take in as much community feedback and recommendations. Throughout the years of experience I carried on these passions: -To include a variety of people in the conversation while opening up for new direction -Leadership in Environmental education, initiatives, organizations, programs and clubs -Passion to have "coffee chats", open discussion to tailer to different audiences I look forward to contributing to any group, team, organization, company and collective I join and being part of the discussion pushing for action. I love to be part of the change and hope to forward change from my early experiences in High School creating a reward system to going to College to rework systems. Striving for change and a new direction is what I look forward to bring to anywhere and everywhere I go.
