A self-oriented scholar who looks to expand into the Environmental Field and lead through local efforts toward motivating the youth to get involved. I believe it takes a community to build a strong identity that can make an impact.

I believe in giving back to the community rather than pulling up the ladder behind me. It was due to the generosity of the community that I was able to get to where I am today. This looks like presenting as a panelist to prospective environmental high schools on how to get started in the field or reaching out to my middle school in East New York on how to make it beyond the city. Giving back to the community through your work will always be my mission's core.

Lawrence University Community Council (LUCC) President sophomore Brooklyn Schara and Vice President sophomore Angelina Larrea have revealed their cabinet for the 2025–2026 year. The new cabinet consists of first-year Esperanza Gonzales as the Public Relations Secretary, junior Olga Gatesi as Treasurer, junior Kaitlin Buelow as Parliamentarian, sophomore Kimberli Mazariegos as General Secretary, first-year Jonathan Xique Hernandez as Finance Secretary, first-year Adrian Stancil-Martin as the Community Relations Coordinator and sophomore Madelynn Kennedy as Club Support and Training Coordinator.
