The Peak

I joined KSU's student lifestyle magazine, The Peak, at the beginning of my freshman year. As a staff writer, I wrote articles that were published both in print and online on The Peak's website. During my sophomore year, I was promoted to the position of Health Editor for the magazine. My duties in this position include approving my staff writers' articles for drafting, editing rough drafts, and collaborating with the editors of the other sections. During my sophomore year, I was also given the title of Social Media Chair for The Peak. As the Social Media Chair, I created and rebranded The Peak's social media account on Instagram and gained a following of over 400 students in just over 3 weeks.
