Kappa Kappa Gamma
As president (during 2022), I directed and designed weekly meeting presentations for over 100 women to discuss operations, philanthropic planning, and academic and leadership opportunities across campus. I would also manage fundraising events to support the JED Foundation, raising thousands of dollars in support of mental health advocacy and suicide prevention among young adults. The role consisted of consulting with other executive board members daily to ensure they were fulfilling their respective responsibilities, and I would also connect with chapter members through holding weekly office hours as a resource for members to express concerns or offer ideas for improving the membership experience. Before serving as president, I served as the chapter's treasurer during 2021. In this role, I calculated and maintained an annual budget of over $100,000, breaking down expenses for the national panhellenic organization and members in a yearly report presentation. I also communicated monthly financial responsibilities and obligations to members, as well as educating them on previously overlooked payment plans and membership options to increase opportunities for involvement while decreasing financial burdens.

Emory Student Ambassador
As an Emory Student Ambassador, I served as a tour guide and resource for prospective students and families. In addition to memorizing and rehearsing knowledge on the school and its founding, I was able connect with individuals as they navigated their decisions. Because of the pandemic, I also witnessed how a classically in-person position adapted to the virtual nature of the world, which was a powerful learning experience.

Emory Wheel
I had the opportunity to hold multiple positions at The Wheel. As Editor-at-Large, I communicated with over 2,000 subscribers and delivered the papers weekly content through hand-selecting the most prominent articles from each section to highlight in the newsletter. As a Founding Co-Editor of the Multilingual Section, I trained translator editors in AP Style and coordinated with them to ensure timely production of translations. I also worked with the team to develop creative ways to incorporate translations into current publications and online site as the section began to grow. On the DEI Committee, I helped implement general body meetings to formalize communication and increase transparency. I also pushed for and carried out writer workshops on proper reporting, inclusive writing, and covering sensitive topics. As a Managing Editor for two sections (Sports and Emory Life), I reviewed and edited all feature articles produced by the sections. Additionally, I communicated with writers, editors, and executive board members daily to produce a biweekly paper. Before becoming a managing editor, I served as the Sports Editor, I managed a group of 20 writers, held weekly meetings to assign articles, and reviewed all content before sending articles to the next stages of editing. It was during this role that I earned second place for Best News Article Investigative Reporting from the Georgia Collegiate Press Association in February 2021. Finally, my first official role on The Wheel was Assistant Sports Editor, where I supported the sports editor in editing weekly articles and offered content ideas for the section. I also earned third place for Best Sports Article from the Georgia Collegiate Press Association in February 2020.
