I worked as an activities assistant at Golden Living Centers in Gloucester, MA. My job duties included conducting activities such as arts and crafts, coloring, exercise, sing a longs, games and even excursions out into the community. Between activities held at Golden Living Centers, I would converse one on one with all residents who did not join us for activities during the day. My work involved working with residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I was trained in HIPAA laws, resident care, and dementia.
