The Psychology of Architecture
Presented a talk entitled ‘The Psychology of Architecture’ at the Undergraduate Research Conference: Act II of the Naked Arts: Creativity Exposed! (hosted by the University of New Hampshire) This project focused on the process and development of the body of work showcased in the Senior BA and BFA Exhibition & MFA Thesis Exhibition at the Museum of Art, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH. 'The Psychology of Architecture' analyzed how these photographs of neglected spaces mimic the inner structure of my mind. If the pattern in my life is thrown off (the way the infrastructure in a building is destroyed), I don't feel like myself. However, rather than giving into these anxieties when my structure is interrupted, I use photography as a way to explore these feelings of disorientation, aloneness, and anxiety.

Creativity through the Digital Media
This Capstone project focused on the difference between raw photography and extreme photo manipulation as these mediums are seen as one cohesive unit in our society. I was interested to see how this affects people and the way they understand certain imagery. To see how common each of the mediums were, I put together a photography show made up of photographs taken by high school students from the Oxford, CT community. The students who submitted a piece for the show would have to fill out a form that disclosed information about their photograph (what camera it was taken with, whether it was edited or not, etc). I compiled the information I received from the submissions and compared it to my outside research which came from major photography publications and professionals in the field. This information was then presented to a board of judges from the Capstone committee.
