Kristin Walsh

Who knew that my curiosity for sports at a young age would flourish into something I wanted to pursue as professional career? Im not talking about being a professional athlete, Im talking about becoming a sports marketer. I am fortunate enough to have had a variety of opportunities that exposed me to many aspects in the world of sports. Whether it be attending the New York Jets training camp to see my cousin work closely with the team, or watching my uncle coach Division III Mens Ice Hockey at Buffalo State University. Most recently, volunteering for four-time Stanley Cup champ and New York Islander legend, Clark Gillies and his foundation for kids. I am currently a Junior at Siena College in Loudonville, New York. During my time at Siena, Ive been majoring in Marketing, while having a concentration in Service and Sports Marketing. I have taken relevant coursework throughout my studies, some of which include Marketing, Sports Marketing, Digital Marketing, Consumer Behavior, International Marketing, Operations Management, and Quantitative Business. These courses have increased my confidence in the field of business, especially as a marketer. I am currently seeking new opportunities to network with others, in hopes for an internship in the Sports Marketing field.
