January, 20 2014 - Verified by Harding UniversityI was responsible for the filing and maintenance of patient medical records.
I was responsible for the filing and maintenance of patient medical records.
I provided accurate communication between nurses, doctors, and patients; maintained and filed medical records electronically; organized copay payments and scheduled appointments; and verified medical history and vitals.
Note that I was part time during the school year, but I worked full time over winter and summer break.
I worked both lobby and drive thru as a cashier. My responsibilities included receiving payment, delivering food, satisfying customers, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in the lobby, kitchen, and restrooms.
I encouraged the academic success of my fellow students by rational analysis of the student's needs. implementation of study methods, and consistent documentation of objectives and outcomes.
I provided encouragement to patients and their families both in person and over the phone. I also worked for two weeks organizing and filing records in addition to contacting families to inquire about their physical and emotional needs.
