Teacher, researcher and social entrepreneur.
I use my technical skills in research to analyze current trends in national and global education, women's development and African education and development. While I mainly work with qualitative data I also have experience working with quantitative data sets.
I have experience developing and running programs in NGOs in Africa and the US, as well as mentoring others interested in creating their own organizations. I have 12+ years leading, managing and directing within non-profits.
As an experienced teacher I have worked for 10+ years in both primary and higher education in Africa and the US. I have 10+ years teaching the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, with two of those in a public school setting in the United States. I teach teacher education, comparative and international education courses at the university level.
