The IRC will be a group of members of our academic community who will come together to read and discuss an interesting piece of research, likely outside of ones own discipline. This will be a low-key, no pressure opportunity to engage with others in our UNF academic community who are interested in intellectual conversation around interesting interdisciplinary research.

The Child Psychology Club aims to connect students to the field of child psychology through multiple avenues. Members of the club are given the opportunity to delve into the world of research by discussing new findings in the areas of child development, mental health, and other similar topics. Members are also encouraged to put their research into practice by volunteering with local organizations such as the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation. Alongside research and volunteer work in the field, the Child Psychology Club invites local professionals to give presentations on themselves, their career path, and the organizations they are a part of. Through these presentations, students are able to network and ask questions in order to better understand careers in child psychology.
