Majoring in Discover Arts

From Dayton, OH
I enjoy long-term employment and training new associates, which has given me good management skills that I hope to continue into my life. I am looking to become an accountant upon my graduation from the University of Dayton. After a few years of gaining experience in my field, I intend to go back to school for my graduate degree and take the Certified Public Accountant Exam in order to become a CPA myself.

Sales Lead at Journeys
I use customer service skills daily. I use my skills to sell products to customers. I organize stock and shipment in the back room each week. I close the store a couple times a week on my own, which includes making a bank deposit nightly. I maintain a time sheet for myself every day. I receive and direct telephone calls or visitors and address their needs accordingly. I train new associates and managers. I plan and perform interviews for new employees, and help to decide who gets the job. I process incoming mail from FedEx every week. I route and distribute outgoing mail to individuals who purchase from our company. I create the schedule for the employees each week.
