My background includes a Retail Management Internship with Nordstrom as well as an additional two seasons with the company in sales. I delegated department tasks on a daily basis, engaged in weekly leadership and sales sessions, and achieved aggressive sales goals. I also was responsible for training seasonal employees in all aspects of the department. The opportunity to shadow the vendor/buyer relationship at AmericasMart was brought to me by a former retail employer and owner of Posh Prom and Formal Wear. I have spent two consecutive summers shadowing the Dave & Johnny, LLC Showroom throughout the duration of the Prom and Special Occasion Market. My talents, experience, and creativity allow me to channel my energy into finding new, exciting experiences within the Fashion Industry.
