Work Experience

Event Supervisor at Whittemore Center Arena

As the event supervisor, I manage and assist the event staff and make sure that events run smoothly. I answer any questions or concerns that guests at the Whittemore Center may have. Also, I work Open Skate at the Whittemore Ice Rink where I monitor UNH students and faculty checking in to skate and I provide skates if they choose to rent a pair. At the end of each shift we file an event report, a revenue report, and any accident reports if someone injured themselves while skating.

I worked almost the entire summer as a waitress at The Anchorage; located in the Lake Sunapee Harbor in New Hampshire. It was a great experience where I learned and improved many valuable skills such as customer service, multitasking, and food and beverage service.
