  Kerri is a first year student at the University of Iowa studying to become a Math Teacher. She really enjoys working with the REACH Students, being a member of her sorority, and being a dancer in Dance Marathon.

              Kerri received seven semesters with a GPA of over a 4.0, on a 4.0 scale. She was also in National Honor Society for two years, Mu Alpha Theta for two years, and Spanish Honor Society for three years. While being dedicated to her academics she was a four-year member of the Cross Country Team, Speech Team, and Rotary Club. Her Junior year she was the Treasure and her Senior year she was Captain of the Speech Team. She was also on the Track team for two years and the Lacrosse Team for two years.

              She became the Freshmen Slate Representative in fall 2016, helping the other Slate nominees from the other classes pick the new Executive Board and who would have what positions. Keri is now Assistant to New Member Education. Meaning she helps out the VP to New Member Education plan events and make sure the New Member are ready to get initiated.

              She helps the REACH Teachers out in Expressive Writing and Community Learning classrooms by making sure everyone stays on task and is completing their work. Also, Kerri checks for understanding and helps correct the students work. Another responsibility she has, is on Thursday mornings she takes the third and fourth year students in the program to the grocery store, so they can get there shopping done. And on Tuesday and Thursday nights Kerri takes a group of students out to an activity and then bring them back to their dorm.
