Kevin Giang is a Ph.D. in Business Administration Candidate at Georgia State University, where Kevin also got his masters degree in marketing and held positions as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. In his research assistant role, he developed business process optimization projects for the College of Education and Human Development using collaboration tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Flow, and in his Teaching Assistant role in the Managerial Sciences Department of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Kevin also helped undergraduate students through their learning process of understanding how to apply Business Analysis tools and methodologies in real-world business scenarios while enhancing the usage of Microsoft Excel.
Kevin has accomplished 14+ years of experience in the automotive industry working with global brands such as Ford and GM. Kevins experience in strategic planning, program/project management, and product development brings a holistic business perspective to help firms transform their goals to reality. Kevins contributions involve the application of business development and marketing concepts and the usage of information and data visualization tools to discover insights, optimize firms decision-making process and improve overall business performance.
Kevin realizes how technology is a game changer in todays business world, and, during his Ph.D. program, he expects to deeply explore quantitative market research and data-driven marketing techniques, and perform research studies about how new technologies, like artificial intelligence and machine learning, are impacting the way marketing is performed nowadays and what are the potential implications for business.
Outside the office, Kevin considers himself a multicultural and cosmopolitan individual who enjoys gourmet cuisine and traveling. Kevin speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese and, up to now, has had the opportunity to be in 3 continents, 11 countries and 26 cities around the world.
