Kevin Wilkinson
I am a kindergarten teacher in a metro Atlanta area elementary school, educating young children with a varieties of needs and skills (academic, linguistic, social, etc.). I am particularly enjoying my work and hold a keen interest in teaching children to be well-rounded, creative individuals. Having recently completed graduate school, I do intend to continue teaching with a possibility of entering academia in the future.
I am always seeking ways to grow professionally and creatively. Some of my research interests include writing instruction in the primary grades, literacy interventions in early childhood, minority education, and culturally relevant pedagogy.
