Studio Services
- Assist patrons with equipment (studio technologies will include 3D printing, virtual reality, CNC router, etc.) No prior experience is required with these technologies - we will provide training.
- Recommend appropriate software/equipment to patrons, depending on their project
- Assist patrons in downloading software, tutor them (as needed) on using the software
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Assist with workshops and classes being held in the Studio
- Potentially design and teach your own workshops
Security/Safety
- Sign-in all Studio patrons
- Enforce all Studio safety policies
Documentation
- Help document procedures and best practices for use of studio equipment and software
Outreach
- Assist with social media outreach
- Taking and sharing of photos and videos
Participate in Staff Development
- We are all learning together as we discover the potential and limits of the various technologies. Be willing to document and share what you've learned with the rest of the team.
- Develop and create your own projects using the Studio technologies.
Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned.
