I currently work at the University of Findlay in the Intensive English Language Program as the Administrative Assistant. I stepped away from teaching elementary school when my youngest started kindergarten and have yet to return. I am currently working on my Masters in Education with a reading endorsement and hope to graduate in May 2020. My undergraduate degree was in Education but I had 2 minors. One is Spanish, and I don't speak it well at all anymore, and one in TESOL. I get to use my TESOL minor every day to help the international students navigate the university and their classes.
