Katherine Lockwood

I grew up in Washington, D.C. and moved to Florida to attend USF as a film major. When that major was dropped, I majored in a few other things until finally getting a degree in Psychology. Meanwhile, I began working at WUSF TV from 1986-2003 and then moved to WFLA until 2008. After working with my own business in video production, I began teaching, first at Hillsborough Community College and then the University of Tampa's department of communication. In 2011 I moved into administration in that department and switched to teaching the First Year Experience. I love working at UT and have gotten an MFA in writing and an MA in Professional Communication from here. Previously, I also received an MA in Mass Communication from USF. I love writing, photography, reading, and working with feline TNVR programs. And getting master's degrees :)
