Becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner has been a lifelong goal of mine. As a registered nurse with almost four years of experience at the bedside, I've gained a prodigious desire to provide more for patients in a greater capacity that I am currently able to. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, my goal is to have the autonomy to clinically practice and provide for my patients. Other aspirations include, gaining the knowledge and skills I need to adequately diagnose and treat acute illnesses, educating patients about preventative care, as well as becoming a resource, and mentor for other nurses.
