Researching the effects of summer learning loss on populations affected by poverty. Implemented a pilot program working with six summer programs to measure how these summer programs can influence academic readiness for the upcoming school year in the areas of STEM, literacy, and self-efficacy. This was completed by a pre and post survey to the students.

Work with a variety of different nonprofits in the region to work on projects to serve the needs of the community partner. This is done by policy-based research into a certain issue area. Findings are then presented to the community partner and to the public at Siena College. A final issue brief is also published at the end of the project.
