I grew up in a small ranching community called Young and have recently moved to Show Low to be close to family again. I have 2 children, my son is 4 years old and my daughter is 2 years old. My husband is from Brazil, we love to go visit family there but with Covid we have been unable to recently. I worked for 13 years in the hospitality industry and have recently returned to school to become a nurse. My goal is to obtain my RN by 2025. Two years ago I had breast cancer and went through chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. I am 1 year cancer free and am eager to move forward with my goals of giving back as a nurse.
