Work Experience

Operations Support Specialist at Northern Light Health

I am part of a team who provides project management, process improvement, and service line management to the Northern Light Health system.

My current projects enable me to work with several different teams within our organization. I am incredibly grateful to work closely with the clinical and administrative dyad of our Primary Care Service Line to assist in standing up and supporting projects that positively impact our patients and colleagues, meet our KPIs, and help us achieve other goals identified by leadership. I also support projects that contribute to the success of our Women's Health Service Line, Nurse Leadership Council, and system process improvement projects, among others.

BUS-210 Module 8-2 Project Two: Statement of Leadership

Project two of Managing and Leading in Business allowed us to reflect on our skills as leaders and followers. This was my statement of leadership, and reflection on what I learned about myself and where I plan to focus for continued growth. This course taught us how to be effective as an individual and as part of a team, specifically diving into things like leadership skills and styles, and the importance of leading and following.

BUS-206 Module 2-2 Project One: The US Legal System and Business

This project for Business Law I required us to create a presentation to high school students interested in business careers. We were to provide an introduction of the law, explain the foundation of the US legal system, describe 3 of the primary sources of US law, summarize the clause of the US Constitution that regulates business, explain the difference between state and federal courts, and conclude with an argument for why it's important for every business owner to have a basic understanding of the legal system.

ENG-123 Module 7-3 Project Two Persuasive Essay: Service Lines

A persuasive essay written for Chris LeClair's English Composition II course. This was my first ever course at SNHU, and it provided me with the opportunity to reflect on part of my career. As an employee with Northern Light Health, I work with a small team of people who provide project management, process improvement, and service line management to Maine's largest healthcare system. This essay enabled me to review the pros and cons of service lines, and then form my argument in support of their implementation within healthcare organizations.

HUM-100 Module 7-1 Project: Leonard Baskin’s The Specially Ordained Slaughterer for Children

This was my project for Perspectives in the Humanities, it required us to complete an analysis of a cultural work. Being a Maine native, I stumbled upon the Farnsworth Art Museum on a hot summer day. My boyfriend and I were incredibly relieved to get some reprieve from the heat and humidity, and were completely unsuspecting of the gallery waiting for us in the lower level of the museum. Leonard Baskin's "I Hold the Cracked Mirror Up to Man" series showcases his massive woodcuts, and are a reflection of the Holocaust.
