Keri Swaby

Keri Swaby serves as Director of the university-level Office of Undergraduate Research at Virginia Tech and is pursuing her doctoral degree in Intergrative STEM Education at Virginia Tech on a part-time basis. She holds a BSc in Chemistry from McGill University (Canada), an MSc in Geochemistry from Georgia Tech, and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. She has taught chemistry at the high school and collegiate levels and managed the quality control program at the world renowned Pickapeppa factory in Jamaica. More recently, Keri has worked as an environmental consultant with Geosyntec Consultants, in Florida, and run her own small business. Her interests outside of work include homesteading, travelling, learning new things, all things related to tea, and crafting with glass.
