My job was to work in the training room three days a week during school and do coverages of varsity boys and junior varsity boys and girls soccer games. My responsibility as an intern included wrapping ice around the injured area, helping newly injured athletes with ankle sprains work on resistance bands, cleaning the training room after lunch periods, and assist on high school soccer game coverages.
As part of the Work Based Learning class, I worked at Advanced Rehabilitation Physical Therapy after school for five hours for two days a week. My responsibility as an intern included preparing and applying the heat or ice packs for the patients, washing, drying, and folding towels and pillowcases and putting it in its designated place, and cleaning tables after patients leave.
I worked at Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association as a referee on the weekends depending on my schedule. Most days, I worked for 3 games per day. My responsibility as a referee included enforcing the rules of the game, being responsible for the safety of the players, being responsible for the coaches, players, and spectator's behavior during the game, and assisting with coworkers on enforcing the rules of the game.
