Kevin Calnan

Hello visitors! Welcome to my merit page. I am a Junior at Buffalo State working towards my B.A. in Geography, as well as, a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I possess an Associate's Degree in Interior Design from SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, which is where my interest in creating sustainable places and spaces first began. My current studies are focused primarily on GIS, remote sensing, and sociology relative to different physical geographies. I believe that creating a more livable world for all of us is achievable with modern technology, such as GIS and drones, with diverse societies and cultures that learn from each other, and with a thorough understanding of the lands each of these societies inhabit. This philosophy has motivated me to absorb as much as possible about the world we live in. This will continue to be my motivating philosophy in my future endeavors, especially as I begin to build a professional network and learn something new from each client's unique perspective. Wherever I may end up, I will always have a desire to learn something new to me; I hope to inspire others to learn along the way by sharing this philosophy. Thank you for visiting my page!
