I ran an online bikini dropshipping business during the summer of 2017. It was tough at first because I had to figure everything out by myself, like how to build a good website, find a supplier and fulfill orders, but I eventually got the hang of it. I also did all my marketing through instagram and I was interacting on a day to day basis with my customers. I recruited several "brand ambassadors" to talk about my business and post about it on their instagrams so it would gather the attention of their followers. Im also the treasurer for Society of Woman Engineers at my university. As the treasurer for SWE, I have to make budgets and present them, and make sure that they are approved in time and all the items are ordered and received. It requires focus, time management, people skills, and attention to detail, which are skills that I've come to value.
