Security Engineer at Baker Donelson
Currently, I manage and direct all anti-malware and anti-virus solutions, proactively identifying potential threats, including spam and suspicious emails, and removing all malware infections. I provide the first-line security incident response to ~2,500 endpoints across 25 law offices across the eastern United States.
Some of my other contributions include:
Creating documentation for key security processes including encryption of confidential data for transmission to outside parties.
Developing training materials and documentation for help desk first-line security incident responders.
Managing antimalware technologies by proactively blocking potential threats and utilizing sandboxing, hashing and blocking, and manual cleanup techniques to analyze and remediate malware.
Applying web filtering on internal/external endpoints to filter web surfing, protecting the firm from infections and viruses, and eliminating improper web browsing use by firm employees.
Ensuring optimized endpoint security by actively managing filtering to quickly identify and neutralize potential threats.
Implementing application and removable device controls on all endpoints to more effectively secure confidentiality of client data.
Developing and documenting procedures to securely send encrypted data via CD/DVD.
