Best Buddies
This group gives support and friendship to college students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by pairing each of the students in the group with a buddy that does not have an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD). As Vice President of the group, I help to plan events such as parties and other fun activities, as well as help to make sure the buddy pairs are going smoothly. In July of 2019, I had the opportunity to attend the Best Buddies Leadership Conference in Bloomington, Indiana. There, I got to meet like-minded individuals who also seek to create inclusive environments for individuals with IDD, as well as learn about different ways to create these environments within my own community.

I currently work with the other crew members to help make endeavors like these successful.
