I have to be up to date on CPR certifications, AED and Oxygen licenses, and my lifeguard skills certification.
At the YMCA I also teach swim lessons. I have given swim lessons to toddlers, children with special needs, children attending camp, teenagers, and adults. I have taught everything from basic skills, water acclimation, and more advanced stroke development.
