Majoring in Rhetoric And Writing, Minoring in Major
University of Findlay, Class of 2019
From Columbus, OH
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, I have always fancied the lighter side of life. Ohio has been known for cornfields and The Ohio State University, but I know it more than a football landmark or mass corn producer. I know it as home.
As a college graduate, I have endured many experiences that have helped me grow as an academic and an individual. From eagerly entering my freshman year at Capital University to paving my way as a graduate student at the University of Findlay, I am confident that my academic experiences have shaped me to be a critical thinker who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Since undergrad and now that I am nearing the end of my graduate school career, my skills have expanded not only in writing, but also in communicating, designing, brainstorming, and mentoring. As a graduate student, I face new opportunities and challenges that help me grow more professionally and academically. My assistantship in the Writing Center has allowed me to mentor undergraduate students in an innovative atmosphere. Additionally, I have the opportunity to work alongside and assist graduate students across all twelve graduate programs offered at UF with their writing processes.
