Livia Candido Martins

Livia is an accomplished, passionate professional who has always had a natural affinity for International Affairs and Global Studies. She earned a Bachelor of Law in Brazil, followed by a Master of International Law, and a Master of Spanish Legal Practice while living in Spain. After working for multinational corporations, her focus shifted from Law to Business. Her professional experience includes Business Management, Taxation, Workflow Documentation, and Marketing. In 2018, Livia moved to the U.S. to pursue her MBA degree and expand her professional skills. After graduating, she aspires to secure a management consulting position. In addition to studying full-time, Livia works as a Graduate Research Assistant for International Engagement at Robinson College of Business. She also volunteers as a Certified Tax Coach, assisting foreign students tax returns as part of an IRS-sponsored program. Additionally, she serves as the Co-Captain of the 2019 Panthers on Wall Street cohort. Livia loves building long and lasting relationships. When she is not attending classes or working, she spends time with friends and family. She is also passionate about traveling, exploring new places, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. She believes that living abroad has enriched her perspective and broadened her capacity to understand and relate to people.
