An admission ambassador is a student chosen to represent our school to prospective students and their families throughout the admission process. These students act as liaisons between the school staff, the current student body, and those considering attending. Sharing the history and culture of the campus, as well as their experiences as a McKendree students, ambassadors help people get to know and appreciate what it means to be a Bearcat. These representatives provide prospective student and their families a window into the reality of our school. Their honesty and unscripted viewpoints will help future students and parents feel more connected to our campus community.
What are job duties? Ambassadors often help in various efforts such as calling or emailing candidates, assisting with campus tours, offering Q&As with candidates and their families, and staying in touch with newly admitted students throughout the enrollment process. Theyre often present during Preview Events, campus tours, and orientation events. Ambassadors act as campus concierges by greeting guests, signing guests in for tours, walking tours, and answering questions.
