I am seeking an internship in the event planning and/or marketing field. My goal is to end up gaining experience and finding a job in the field I love. Throughout high school I had an internship at our communities local Chamber of Commerce to help me prepare for future internships. A few of the tasks I completed are below: - Used computer skills to schedule all events online through Chamber master ( Lunch & Learn, Revives, Weekly Meetings, and Festivals). - Reached out to local business to seek their cooperation in hosting a Lunch & Learn teaching the community what that particular business is about. - Solely responsible for planning the Children's Carnival at DeWitts Annual Autumn Festival. - Wrote Press releases to let the community know what's happening each week. - Posted member spotlights on various forms of social media which gave our sponsors a chance to be recognized.
