Gene Goselin Memorial Scholarship: This award is given in memory of Gene Goselin. Gene was a 1964 graduate of Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School and distinguished himself in three varsity sports, earning 8 varsity letters. Gene displayed his superior athletic ability most in the sports of basketball and baseball. Gene held himself to high academic standards and valued the benefits gained from participating in athletics. After completing high school, he graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois in 1968 on an academic and athletic scholarship. Gene had an extremely successful career, retiring as Financial Advisor / Senior Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors in Bourbonnais.

Joel David Kuiken Memorial Scholarship: This award is in memory of Joel David Kuiken, a 1995 graduate of Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School. He continued his studies at several different colleges and universities in his attempt to prepare for a degree in law. In May of 1999, Joel was diagnosed with the AML strain of leukemia. In August of 2000, he lost his battle with the disease. In honor of Joel and his wishes to become a lawyer and his fifteen-month medical battle for his life, one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) will be awarded to two (2) individual qualified applicants.

Donald and Dixie Turner Scholarship: Shortly after their marriage in 1954, Don and Dixie Turner moved to the Kankakee Illinois area where they both completed rewarding careers in the education field. Don served for 35 years at the Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, where he retired in 1998 as Superintendent. Dixie Turner earned her bachelors and masters degrees from Olivet Nazarene University. She earned her doctorate from the University of Illinois. Dr. Dixie Turner taught at Olivet from 1978 until her death in 1997. To honor the dedicated careers of Donald and Dixie Turner, this $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a deserving BBCHS graduating senior who plans to attend a 4-year college or university and to study teacher education.
