My name is Lauren Evans and I am from Brandon, Mississippi. I am currently a student at Mississippi College in my Senior Year. I volunteer at Baptist Children's Hospital and love getting a study break by playing with kids. I also attend church at Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon and teach 7th grade girls Lifegroup each week.

Volunteering
As a Child LIfe Volunteer at Batson Children's Hospital in Mississippi, I have the privilege of getting to interact with patients and their parents in specialized activity rooms. These children are in a hospital, but it is our job to distract them from their circumstances and give them a sense of joy.

KIDS Intern at Crossgates Baptist Church
As a KIDS Intern during the summer months, I was responsible for helping coordinate big events such as VBS and KIDS Camp. I was also responsible for doing the normal weekly maintenance tasks in order to be Sunday prepared.
