Suzanne Lowman

Majored in Middle Childhood Education
Miami University , Class of 2019
From Franklin
My name is Suzanne Lowman and I am a graduate of Miami University located in Oxford Ohio. I am from the small town of Franklin, Ohio and grew up in North Carolina and Florida. My major is Middle Childhood Education with a focus on Language Arts and Social Studies. I have always had a love for children, and I am excited to have the opportunity to teach them later in life. My goals are to provide a democratic classroom filled with social justice, equity, determination, hard work, high expectations, and understanding. I would like to reach all of my students in order to prepare them to become future leaders in this democratic society. I have gained a passion for teaching, and with it I would like to change children's lives, I would like to give them a voice while they find and express their own. Outside of school I enjoy hiking, camping, painting, drawing, jogging, swimming, and spending time with family.
