Lua Varner

I am in my fourth year at Georgia Tech, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Health Policies and Economics. I am deeply passionate about understanding the brain, advancing ethical healthcare, and shaping equitable health policies. My academic journey thus far, including courses in Neuroplasticity, Experimental Design, and Macroeconomics, has equipped me with a strong interdisciplinary foundation. Beyond the classroom, I thrive in collaborative environments, from leading or assisting with diversity initiatives in my sorority to participating in Epic Intentions to consult with local non-profits and improve their outreach abilities and branding. With hands-on experience in childcare, summer camp counseling, nonprofit consulting, and qualitative and quantitative research, I have strong foundations in empathy, leadership, and problem-solving that I bring to every endeavor. I am committed to fostering inclusive, innovative solutions that prioritize community well-being and drive positive change in healthcare.
