Mackenzie Nish

Mackenzie is a senior at Canisius College in the All-College Honors Program studying Animal Behavior and Psychology. She is an studious scholar and a passionate active member of the Canisius College community. Her values include providing educational opportunities, particularly to youth, giving back to local communities, cura personalis, tolerance, and individualized care towards others. Mackenzie enjoys scrapbooking, volunteering, and playing basketball in her free time. Educational interests of Mackenzie include animal welfare, neurobiology and neurophysiology, personality psychology, and interfaith interactions. Mackenzie hopes to enter graduate school in the human services field, specifically focused on occupational therapy - like studies. Ultimately, Mackenzie would like to be a part of animal-assisted therapy and humane education in her work.
