Zywave is a privately held company and the leading provider of software-as-a-service technology solutions for the insurance industry. Zywave has been named Top Workplaces in Milwaukee for 2018 and 2019 as named by the Journal Sentinel, and additionally best intern program for a midsize company in Milwaukee as of 2019.

I had the opportunity to intern for the summer working 40 hours a week in an office setting and continued this internship part time throughout this past school year. My job includes assisting in business operations as well as helping other departments as needed.

Achievements:

- Completed an individual project dealing with inbound marketing
- Created email templates in Salesforce
- Organized and cleaned out over a thousand email templates
- Created documentation on how to use email in Salesforce
- Found missing information for thousands of accounts
- Organized 100 enterprise accounts
- Found Data and commissions for thousands of accounts

Reich Installation Services is a national provider of custom installations in, and of, factories and warehouses in excess of 5 million square feet. I assisted in HR and clerical work at their office location

Job Duties:
- Filing and scanning documents such as payroll, accounts payable, receipts, bank statements etc.
- Employee write ups, 401k information and new employee paperwork
- Filling out contracts and handling contract renewals

I completed research on conflict negotiation for my organizational behavior class this semester. In my paper I focused on how healthy conflict can benefit organizations. I followed this research and paper with a presentation in class. As a senior, I believe this to be one of the more in depth research I have done on a topic that I enjoyed. I felt that the overall writing is clearly better than pieces I have written in the past. As a freshman, sophomore, and even junior I did not know exactly what a credible source was or what a good hypothesis looked like. While completing this research paper, I felt it was easy for me to turn all the information I gathered into a well thought out paper. I enjoyed learning about this topic and I will be able to apply what I have learned to everyday life at work.

This fake retirement biography I completed in my english class I am currently enrolled in. I decided this is the perfect assignment that shows some of my goals and aspirations for the future. This assignment forced me to look far in advance about what I hope to achieve and be known for throughout my life. In addition, I was unsure about this assignment but while writing it and after it was completed I realized I enjoyed the creativity and thoughtfulness of the assignment.

In honor of my best friend's dad, I decided to host a brain cancer awareness event at one of the women's basketball games. Throughout this semester long project I communicated extensively with resources on and off campus. I coordinated with these resources to receive information, money, and help at the event. Throughout the planning of this event I learned how to coordinate a long term project by myself. I learned how to manage my time and gained experience with back and forth communication between several people or groups. I also designed posters and flyers for the event, which is something I've never had experience doing previously. I thought this project was a great experience in not only leadership but communication and planning. I presented my project at the end of the semester in leadership class and created a project portfolio.
