Hi my name is Madelyn Hajec! I am currently a sophomore at Miami University and I majoring in supply chain and operations management with a minor in sport management. I love sports and participate in multiple intramurals on campus. I love going out to the lake in the summer to water ski and wakeboard. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I have loved my semesters here at Miami and can't wait for all the memories I'm bound to make!

Women in Sport Leadership
I became a member of WISL in spring of 2025. I wanted to find other women who were as passionate about sports as I was, and this was definitely the club to join! That spring, we traveled to Columbus, OH for a Women in Business Panel hosted by the Columbus Blue Jackets. This provided all students an opportunity to network and listen to how all these women got to where they are today. I hope to continue getting opportunities in WISL and I look forward to improving my connections!

Intramural volleyball
I joined both an intramural women's volleyball team and a coed volleyball team. I have enjoyed making so many friendships and getting able to play the sport I love. It's great to come play twice a week to get your mind off school and provide yourself with social interactions and physical exercise. This really helps me mentally and I will continue to play for the rest of my college years!
