I am currently a second-year Sociology major, specializing in Non-Profit and Community Development, with double minors in Women's and Gender Studies and African-American Studies at The College of New Jersey. I am currently seeking an internship in the field of urban planning, non-profit, government, civil and/or social organization involving social justice and/or social policy.
Through my study of sociology, women's and gender studies and African-American studies, I plan to further my occupational skills through a position that allows me to focus on people and communities at risk domestically and/or internationally, while also shaping social policy and law. Assisting in the betterment of people and their communities are my lifelong goals. Being employed by the government and/or an organization that allows me to enrich the lives of others positively through policy and service focusing on civil rights, social justice and/or social advocacy would be phenomena
