February, 04 2019 - Clemson UniversityAs an intern and student researcher/strategist affiliated with Clemson Universitys Social Media Listening Center, I actively contribute to ongoing research projects focused on listening, monitoring, analyzing and engaging in local and global online conversations. In this role, Ive obtained an in-depth understanding of social media analytics and associated software, such as Salesforce Social Studio. Through the interdisciplinary center, Ive gained applicable real world experience through completing projects for corporations, local news stations (WYFF News 4; WSPA 7), SCEMD, and Clemsons Emergency Management Team. Additionally, Ive had the unique opportunity to assist Clemson researchers on Russian and Iranian social media propaganda research related to influencing the USA elections. I have also taken great pride in creating and operating the center's Instagram page, @ClemsonSMLC, and launching our #FemalesInTech Campaign.
