LUX Technology materialized at Santa Barbara Startup Weekend #4 with a simple goal in mind--increase the safety, comfort, and confidence of cyclists at night. Introducing LUXhelmet--a safe and stylish helmet especially useful for both daily commuters and children. The LUXhelmet's integrated deceleration-triggered brake light allows drivers to determine when a bicyclist is slowing down by turning red. Brightly glowing LEDs illuminate the entire surface of the helmet, allowing maximum visibility to both drivers and other bicyclists.
