Mara Sholette
Historian hoping to focus on Enlightenment France, writer, and Graduate Assistant at College of Charleston. Pure-bred Yankee liberal and Communist party member. Shameless love for cheesy pop acts because one can't be serious all the time.

Mara Sholette was recognized for studying abroad
I spent four months at the University of Winchester in Winchester, Hampshire, England. I studied global history, medieval England, 18th century English literature, and philosophy. During this period I also made trips to Cardiff, Wales; Edinburgh, Scotland; Paris, France; and many cathedral cities in England. I also joined the school's choir, the King Alfred Singers, and the women's a cappella ensemble as a way of emerging myself into the local culture.
