Marika King
I am a doctoral student at Georgia State University in the developmental psychology program. I received a master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of New Mexico and a certification of clinical competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. My research interests are in improving the communication outcomes of children who are not able to use their natural speech adequately and who require augmentative and alternative communication. I am also interested in investigating the augmentative and alternative communication needs in children who are bilingual.
