Mark Lambert joined the University Relations department in July 2019 as the result of the merger of Jefferson College of Health Sciences into Radford University, and serves as the Director of University RelationsRoanoke-based for Radford University Carilion. He is responsible for communications, marketing and messaging, working in collaboration with the University Relations team on the main campus. Mark holds an M.S. in Corporate & Professional Communication from Radford University and dual B.A.s in Mass Communication and Graphic Art from Emory & Henry College. Previously, Mark served as the Senior Coordinator of Communications & College Relations for Jefferson College of Health Sciences.

- Produced print and electronic publicity materials for the eight branches of the Durham County Public Library, Library's Bookmobile and Outreach Assistance for Shut-Ins and Seniors program (OASIS).

The Mayor of RUC
Every day, Glen Mayhew, D.H.Sc., associate dean for the Waldron College of Health and Human Services, goes out to the third-floor lobby at Radford University Carilion (RUC) to greet students, faculty and staff as they arrive or leave the building. Mayhew enjoys giving tours of RUC, and when he has time, he ventures to the top floor of the 10-story building and works his way down, saying hello to everyone and seeing if there is anything that he can do to help them.

The Marvelous Judy Jenks
Judy Jenks ’95, M.S.N. ’02, D.N.P. ’16, FNP-BC ’21, and her family have deep roots as Highlanders at Radford University. A native of Radford, Jenks earned four of her eight college degrees and certificates at Radford University. Those include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) in 1995, a Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) in 2002 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) in 2016, as well as her latest, a post-graduate certificate in Appalachian Studies, awarded in 2021.

Perserving a Unique Vision
